Grown on a JAS-certified organic family farm in Kirishima (Kagoshima), where volcanic soil and a mild climate produce matcha with real clarity and character. The unique landscape naturally prevents pests, meaning no pesticides and no synthetic fertilisers.

Bayside comes from a small cooperative on Japan's southern coast, where four family farmers came together to grow, tend and harvest as one - pooling generations of experience into a single, shared expression of Saemidori and Tsuyuhikari. This two-cultivar blend is shade-grown under kabuse for three weeks.

Alongside your matcha, whisk, sieve and spoon, this set includes a Chawan and Chasen Naoshi handmade in Western Australia in collaboration with Porch Ceramics. Who We Are
Zenergi Matcha began in Perth in 2024, built on the belief that quality comes from care. We work closely with five small, family-run tea farms in Japan who share our commitment to first-harvest matcha, sustainable practices, and minimal intervention - letting nature lead the process.
Our first-harvest (ceremonial-grade) matcha and hojicha are 100% pesticide-free, sourced from renowned regions throughout Japan. With unique flavour and aroma, our range is chosen intentionally - showcasing the love, care, and terroir that is put into the process of cultivation and harvest.
Alongside our powders, we offer thoughtfully made accessories and at-home matcha sets, including handcrafted ceramic pieces created in collaboration with Porch Ceramics in North Fremantle. Everything we offer reflects what we value: purpose, quality, and doing things properly.
